A new company, North Star Holdings Co. WLL was formed in May 2007 to combine North Star I (1,056,800 sq m) and North Star II (868,010 sq m) into one development project.

Davenport Campbell Middle East has been appointed Master Planner for this mixed use development project where dredging, reclamation and shore protection work has commenced.

At the end of 2007, the property was independently valued at BD 215 per sq m - more than double the value at inception.
